Ginsyu-Kiln

Ginsyu-Kiln

A new style of Kutani. Dreamlike vessels.

Ginshu Kiln is the fourth generation of a popular potter, Ginshu Kiln, who challenged the new world of Inroe and created a new style of Kutaniyaki. The first generation, Bunkichi (Meiji period), is considered one of the most famous Kutani potters. Using mainly soft neutral colors that enchant the user, he paints delicate and beautiful patterns, inviting the user into a dreamlike world of color painting. Ginshu-zo is a potter who pays close attention to every detail of his work and sincerely wishes that his customers will enjoy his pottery from the bottom of their hearts.
While maintaining the traditional techniques and designs of Kutaniyaki, she also adopts new approaches to meet the demands and aesthetics of the modern age. Their creations are attractive and in harmony with modern life, while respecting the traditions of Kutaniyaki.
