Shiho Aikawa

Shiho Aikawa, a popular young artist who works with an unusual technique of painting in three dimensions

Just being there is exciting. Creative ceramics with an unusual technique.

Shiho Aikawa is a popular young artist who uses a rare technique called "deco-mori", in which she piles up paint with a special tool and paints a three-dimensional image. The Ichichin technique is rare, and this particular type of pottery combines Japanese and Western colours, with gold added for the finish. The bold, yet beautiful and comfortable texture of this technique has made it a painting technique that has gained popularity in recent years. Just by being there, the pottery has a presence that is exciting. We hope you enjoy our creative pottery which we have put a lot of time and effort into.
