Marinated Tuna Sashimi

By marinating the tuna, it becomes incredibly juicy, and the flavors spread in your mouth. It offers a unique taste and pairs exceptionally well with rice. Enjoy!

<Ingredients>

  • Vinegared rice: 2 cups rice, 3 tablespoons vinegar, 2 tablespoons sugar, 1 teaspoon salt
  • Soy sauce: 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon mirin (sweet cooking sake), 1 tablespoon sake, put in a microwave-safe dish and microwave for 30 seconds to dissolve the alcohol.

 

Step 1

Sushi rice 1) Cook 2 cups of rice hard.

Step 2

Mix vinegar, sugar and salt well.

Step 3

Pour Step2 into Step1 and mix quickly with a fan while cutting with a wooden spoon.

Step 4

Mix together the pickling sauce (1) a pinch of wasabi and 1 small amount of sesame oil.

Step 5

Put the tuna fillets on and leave for 1 hour or overnight.

Step 6

Finish by placing the marinated tuna on top of the vinegared rice and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
