Step 1
Mix 2 tablespoons each of soy sauce, sake and mirin, 1 tablespoon each of sugar and water, 1 teaspoon katakuriko (potato starch) and a pinch of grated ginger to taste to make "An ingredient with starchy sauce".
Step 2
Wrap two potatoes in wet kitchen paper or plastic wrap and microwave for 3.5 to 4 minutes (600W).
Step 3
In a frying pan, add oil (as needed) and fry the ground pork.
Step 4
When the color of the ground pork changes, mix the "An ingredient with starchy sauce" well again, add it while stirring, and cook until thickened.
Step 5
Cut potatoes into bite-size pieces and place on a serving dish.
