Product Description​

This is a set of five round plates with two cute white-eyes birds. It is a bird of good omen, regarded as a bird of luck because of its characteristic white ring around its eyes (mejiro), from which it gets its name, and its habit of perching on branches in pairs, chirping "chee, chee" to each other.

They are just the right size for serving soy sauce and condiments, as well as side dishes. It can also be used as a small storage unit for accessories and other small items.

Hand washing is recommended whenever possible

You can use a soft sponge and a mild detergent to clean the dish. It is important to wash gently with a soft sponge or cloth.​ 

While you can use a dishwasher, we recommend hand washing as much as possible for some items such as those made of gold and silver, which tend to peel off after a long period of use.​

Be careful with microwave ovens

Do not use products made of gold or silver in the microwave or oven. 

Sparks may fly off and cause the surface to become dirty or damaged.​
