Product Description

Inspired by the elegance of traditional Japanese ceramics, this exquisite goblet-style sake cup features a vibrant, free-flowing design that captures the beauty of color and movement.

Crafted by Kokuzō Kiln, the cup showcases an artistic composition of soft blues, warm yellows, delicate pinks, and subtle earthy tones. The expressive brushwork creates a sense of lightness and spontaneity, as if the colors were dancing gracefully across the porcelain. Its distinctive goblet shape and rich reddish-brown foot add a refined contrast, bringing together traditional craftsmanship and contemporary artistic expression.

Perfect for enjoying sake or other favorite beverages, this beautifully crafted cup transforms everyday drinking into a special experience. Its unique design also makes it an elegant addition to a Japanese table setting or a thoughtful gift for lovers of fine ceramics and Japanese artistry.

How to care for Kutani ware

Care and Maintenance

Adorned with exquisite floral colors and gold paint doesn’t mean it was designed just for display.

Kutani pottery was designed and made for daily joy.

With proper care and knowledge, this timeless piece promises years of delightful use.

Hand washing is recommended whenever possible

You can use a soft sponge and a mild detergent to clean the dish. It is important to wash gently with a soft sponge or cloth.

While you can use a dishwasher, we recommend hand washing as much as possible for some items such as those made of gold and silver, which tend to peel off after a long period of use.

Be careful with microwave ovens

Do not use products made of gold or silver in the microwave or oven.

Sparks may fly off and cause the surface to become dirty or damaged.

Rapid Temperature Changes

Rapid temperature changes, such as sudden cooling or heating, may cause the tableware to crack or break.

Do not place hot tableware on a cold surface, or pour hot food into cold tableware.
