Product Description​

The name of the kiln, Taishi Kiln, was inspired by Dr. Clark's words, "Boys, be ambitious!". Using techniques handed down from generation to generation, the new Kutani Yaki expresses "modern design with tradition" and "ease of daily use".

 

The gorgeous design, decorated with various floral patterns in glittering gold, is characterized by its ease of integration with food.

Care and Maintenance

Adorned with exquisite floral colors and gold paint doesn’t mean it was designed just for display. 

Kutani pottery was designed and made for daily joy. 

With proper care and knowledge, this timeless piece promises years of delightful use.​

Hand washing is recommended whenever possible

You can use a soft sponge and a mild detergent to clean the dish. It is important to wash gently with a soft sponge or cloth.​ 

While you can use a dishwasher, we recommend hand washing as much as possible for some items such as those made of gold and silver, which tend to peel off after a long period of use.​

Be careful with microwave ovens

Do not use products made of gold or silver in the microwave or oven. 

Sparks may fly off and cause the surface to become dirty or damaged.​
