Kanagawa-oki Namiura is one of the 46 pictures of Katsushika Hokusai's famous ukiyo-e series "Fugaku Sanjurokkei" (Thirty-six Views of Mt. Fuji). It is one of the masterpieces of the series, known as the "Three Great Ukiyo-e Works", and is the most widely known masterpiece of his entire career.
