Product Description​

This product is a set of 5 medium sized plates. This size is easy to use as a serving plate or a plate for side dishes.

 

The rim of the plates is decorated with a floral pattern painted in gold and numerous dots called "shirochibu". Shirochibu is a traditional kutaniyaki technique that has been used since the Taisho era (1912-1926), and it is a work that requires patience and skill on the part of the craftsman who continues to make countless dots one by one.​

With proper care and knowledge, this timeless piece promises years of delightful use.​

Hand washing is recommended whenever possible

You can use a soft sponge and a mild detergent to clean the dish. It is important to wash gently with a soft sponge or cloth.​ 

While you can use a dishwasher, we recommend hand washing as much as possible for some items such as those made of gold and silver, which tend to peel off after a long period of use.​

Be careful with microwave ovens

Do not use products made of gold or silver in the microwave or oven. 

Sparks may fly off and cause the surface to become dirty or damaged.​
