Hydrangea is a Japanese deciduous shrub that is popular all over the world. It is known to turn bluish in acidic soil and reddish in alkaline soil.
The language of the flowers changes depending on the color of the hydrangea, but in general they are "shifting," "perseverance," "flirtatious," and "impermanence. The word "changeable" is said to be derived from the fact that the color changes little by little, and it is also known as "shichi-changen".
