Yellow-glazed pottery, or Yellow Kouchi, is pottery fired with a bright yellow glaze. It is decorated with auspicious and lucky patterns such as birds and treasures.
When you touch it, the unevenness of the patterns is pleasant to the touch.
Seiko kiln is a famous Kutani ware kiln for color painting. The pattern on the rim, painted with Japanese paints with transparency and depth of layers originally developed by the Seiko kiln, is vivid and will add color to your dining table.
This is a medium sized plate with a little depth, so please enjoy it as an extra plate or side dish.
