Product Description
A pair of rice bowls made using the traditional Kutaniyaki "Hanazume" technique. Hanazume is one of the representative techniques of Kutaniyaki, in which a continuous pattern of flowers is painted with glittering gold on the outline of the bowl.
The beauty of the gold painting, which is in perfect harmony with the various colors of the underglaze painting, is highly sought after both in Japan and abroad.
Shinzan, who is responsible for this work, believes that the way of a craftsman is to create works with the utmost care and devotion, and was not satisfied with the existing hanazume style, but developed hanazume on his own.
The delicacy and gravity of the work, painted with expert skill, are very beautiful.
Colorful flowers are painted all over the piece, creating a sense of luxury and elegance. It is perfect for everyday use as well as special occasions.
