The artist, Tsuyoshi Sato, is a potter who learned Kutaniyaki pottery techniques and mastered the "tsuke-date" technique of ink painting to create his own unique works.
He creates his own forms by rokuro molding and then paints them, conveying the true joy and interest of ceramics through his works. Sato's brush strokes, which incorporate the techniques of ink painting and cannot be duplicated, give each piece of pottery a unique expression with a sense of dynamism.
