Japanese beef steak (wagyu) 200g about 0.6 inches thick
Salt and black pepper, to taste


Step 1:


Take the beef out of the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking to bring it to room temperature.


Step 2:


Heat beef fat in a frying pan over high heat until melted. Place the beef in the pan, seasoned side down, and cook until browned (about 30 seconds to 1 minute).


Step 3:


Flip the beef over, cover lightly with aluminum foil, and continue cooking (about 1 minute and 30 seconds).


Step 4:


Remove the beef from the pan, wrap it in the aluminum foil, and let it rest (for about 10 minutes).


Step 5:


Cut the beef into bite-sized pieces for serving.
